RailCorp is currently looking for qualified signal electricians to join one of our many exciting teams to carry out construction and maintenance of RailCorp’s signalling system.
To be successful in this role you will have been performing at a high standard in a similar role and be qualified in the following:
- Possess a trade certificate as an electrical tradesperson;
- assessed as competent level 4.3 (signal electrical);
- qualified for appointment to signal electrician;
- detailed knowledge of the types and contents of rail signalling documentation and maintenance procedures and requirement of signalling equipment;
- demonstrated diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills;
- effective written and oral communication skills;
- demonstrated commitment to employee safety;
- possess a current NSW drivers licence; and
- understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Principles; OH&S Act and Environmental Awareness, Ethnic Affairs Priority Statement (EAPS) and Ethical Practices.
RailCorp offers excellent remuneration and employment conditions, including a flexible work environment, benefits and travel concessions. Salary will be between $45,139 - $57,998 plus 9% superannuation, dependent on the assessed level of competency, qualifications, skills and experience. Applicable shift penalties, overtime and or/allowances will be paid in addition.
