RailCorp is looking for qualified overhead line workers to join one of our many exciting teams to carry out maintenance, emergency repairs and construction of high and low voltage transmission lines in accordance with Electrical Safety Instructions and all appropriate legislation.

To apply for this position, you will be:

• Qualified to work on overhead lines in New South Wales;
• experienced as a linesman transmission;
• certified as competent to work on transmission lines without supervision;
• be eligible for accreditation as an authorised traction line worker;
• authorised or be able to be authorised to carry out high voltage and 1500 volt switching;
• good written and oral communication skills;
• demonstrated commitment to employee and systems safety;
• current C Class drivers licence; and
• understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Principles; OH&S Act and Environmental Awareness, Ethnic Affairs Priority Statement (EAPS) and Ethnical Practices.

RailCorp offers excellent remuneration and employment conditions, including a flexible work environment, benefits and travel concessions.  Salary will be between $45,139 - $52,854 plus 9% superannuation, dependent on the assessed level of competency, qualifications, skills and experience.  Applicable shift penalties, overtime and or/allowances will be paid in addition.
