About RailCorp
Rail Corporation New South Wales is the merged entity of the State Rail Authority of New South Wales and the metropolitan functions of the Rail Infrastructure Corporation. RailCorp was established as a corporation on 1 January 2004 under the Transport Administration Amendment (Rail Agencies) Act 2003.
This legislation allows for the continuation of StateRail and RIC as legal organisations while work proceeds on a program for transfer of functions, assets, staff, etc.
