Limited edition tickets
From 3 January 2005, CityRail's regular orange tickets were replaced by new, red 150 Years of Rail in NSW tickets (centre, right).

In addition, CityRail has produced a special limited edition of 150,000 periodical tickets, featuring 24 different designs depicting historical moments in NSW railways. These tickets are on sale at CityRail stations now. Customers buying CityRail tickets valid for 28 days or more will be issued one of these memorable designs. Each ticket features an individual number from 1 to 150,000.

Souvenir calendar
A special 2005 calendar to celebrate 150 years of rail has been published and was inserted into The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday, 4 January 2005. The wall calendar features a range of key events planned throughout the year as well as historical highlights.
